Peabody Park & Raymond Skinner Center

Peabody Park’s 3.38 acres contains a splash pad, playground, a paved 0.5 mile walking trail, and 2 rental pavilions with benches, picnic tables, grills, and water fountains.

RAYMOND SKINNER CENTER

Raymond Skinner Center offers senior programs, an indoor pool, restrooms, and parking for both the center and Peabody Park.

 

The staff of the Raymond Skinner Center welcomes all physically challenged residents to take part in the activities and programs offered at the facility. Please call if you have questions about any of the offerings.

Activities and programs
All activities take place at the Skinner Center under the supervision of our staff. We do not have the capacity to program with children on a one-on-one basis. In a week’s time, we will be able to determine if your child is qualified to attend our program.

Reach Out

9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Recreation program for special needs adults: activities include arts & crafts, board games, ceramics, community trips, exercises, gym games, singing, sports, swimming, and weight training.

Raymond Skinner Center Pool

Only available for adaptive programming use, the Raymond Skinner Community Center includes an indoor, heated pool.

  • Summer hours
    • Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Fall hours
    • Monday- Friday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1:00 pm – 3:30 p.m.

Note: All pools will be cleared 30 minutes prior to close
