Gaston Park & Community Center

Community center closed starting May 1, 2022

Under Construction

The Gaston Park is 8-acres and includes a paved .25 mile walking and biking trail, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor basketball court, playground equipment, and a rental pavilion with a grill. The Gaston Park Library and Gaston Community Center are on site. Off-street parking is available.

Gaston Community Center is closed beginning May 1, 2022 due to upgrades being made thanks to funding from the City of Memphis’ Accelerate Memphis plan.

The facility is being renovated with the goal of restoring its historical presence. In addition to the exterior windows being replaced and opened once again, the interior of the building will receive numerous aesthetic improvements. The reintroduction of natural lighting will be a focal point of this project, as well as renovating the existing entry to create an open and welcoming environment.

Pavilion Rentals

Reservations for the pavilion are available for events at least 14 days away.
