Ed Rice Community Center, Frayser Park & Frayser Tennis Center

Frayser Park is a 40-acre park with a playground, pavilion, 1.5-mile walking trail, outdoor pool, tennis center, open field space and the Ed Rice Community Center. Off-street parking is available.

ED RICE COMMUNITY CENTER

The newly renovated Ed Rice Community Center includes a new gym, aquatics center, tennis court, park, and art space, as well as a new basketball court, stage, and three community meeting spaces along with workout and fitness areas.

 

All Memphis Parks community centers provide:

All community centers are available for family reunions, banquets, wedding receptions, business meetings, and more. Some of the activities offered might require an additional fee for persons who live outside the Memphis City Limits.

Frayser Tennis Center

Managed by Tennis Memphis, Frayser Tennis Center has 8 outdoor courts. The tennis center offers tennis services and programming to the community, including court rentals, racquet stringing, adult and junior programming, outreach programming, summer camps and more.


Call the tennis center to make a reservation for up to two days in advance and five days for card holders.

Outdoor Pool

Outdoor pools are only open during the summers.

Tuesday – Saturday: 12 p.m.-6p.m.

Note: All pools will be cleared 30 minutes prior to close
